$200 million.
For Santa
Monica, Ca based NextEngine, as Director of Sales; Patrick introduced
leading online 3D communication and collaboration technologies to Fortune
500 clients/partners in the design/manufacturing and ecommerce markets.
They include Mattel, eBay, United States Department of Homeland Security
and others. He helped raise equity funding with a 33% increased valuation
in '03, while the majority of early stage companies in the U.S. were forced
to accept down rounds.
As InfoGlide
Software's National Sales Manager, Patrick introduced one of the worlds
first intelligent profile based search engines to Fortune 500 companies
in the ecommerce and financial markets. His clients include AOL, eBay,
Geico, State Farm, USAA, and more. His efforts helped lead two successful
equity funding rounds with significant increases in valuation.
With Patrick's
experience in advanced profiling search engines and online collaboration
technologies he looks forward to building www.ExerciseFriends.com into
the world's premier online community where people all across the world
find and meet new friends with whom to engage in fun healthy activities

Patrick holds
a BA from the University of Texas at Austin. Now that he is back in Austin
after his years in California, he looks forward to walking around Town
Lake, enjoying golf lessons and playing more basketball all with new exercise
friends.
David
Shoenfeld
David brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in driving the
adoption of game-changing products for diverse industries to his current
role as Vice President of Marketing at NextEngine, Inc. based in Santa Monica,
CA.
David spent
twenty years in marketing management at Federal Express, rising to the
top marketing post, SVP of Worldwide Marketing. He launched the FedEx
Overnight Letter, Business Service Center retail network, established
FedEx's Asian express market, and later helped lead the European market
turn-around to profitability. On David's watch, FedEx did some of its
most brand-defining Marketing Communications work.
Prior to
FedEx, David held a series of marketing management posts at Western Union
Corp over a ten year period. David earned a BS in Business Administration
from Northeastern University.
Kevin
Embree
As a board member and seed round investor, Kevin brings over 16 years
of software development, product management, startup, and operations experience
to ExerciseFriends.com.
At EDS for
over 8 years, Kevin managed software development teams and large data
warehousing projects focused on streamlining operational costs and identifying
fraudulent behavior for national and state health care programs.
Kevin also
served as Director of Product Management at Infoglide Software (similarity
search, identity management, fraud detection) and as VP of Product Strategy
at Kurion which pioneered the syndicated web services market and was acquired
by iSyndicate/Bertlesman.
Kevin currently
serves as Director of Global Risk Operations at eBay, Inc. and holds a
B.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
Kevin and
his wife, Lisa, enjoy walking around Town Lake in Austin and playing tennis
together. Lisa is a Licensed Physical Therapist and received her Bachelor
of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin. Kevin
and Lisa believe exercisefriends.com will help bring people together and
motivate them to exercise regularly, maintain a healthy diet, and help
them experience a better life.
Ken
Collins

Ken Collins
started his web development career in San Diego, California. As a graphic
designer and HTML programmer Ken honed his skills in web development as
he mastered programming languages such as: HTML, DHTML, ASP, JavaScript,
CSS and vbScript.
Ken has developed websites for realtors, book writers, online magazines,
bands, day spas, non-profit organizations and local politicians. Along
the way, he learned Access and SQL server database administration and
ASP.NET programming.
He is currently working with Birth2Work.org.
Ken's responsibilities are developing and maintaining the online community
tools that birth2work.org
needs to connect the leaders from every major sector of government, education,
aerospace and technological industries for the purpose of collaborating
about ways to fulfill the needs of tomorrow's technological workforce.
Ken is also on the board of directors for The
Amy Listen Foundation, a non-profit organization in San Diego, CA
that benefits patients with cystic fibrosis. He is the foundation's Secretary
and provides technological guidance and support for talf.net.
Ken's experience and diversity in Internet technologies made him the
ideal designer, developer and web master for ExerciseFriends.com. He is
responsible for acquiring or creating the tools for the web site's functionality,
as well as developing the site's overall architecture, aesthetics and
usability.
